He is here!

Hey everyone! It has been crazy with my pregnancy these past 6-8 weeks. After my last posting, I was admitted to L & D for BP monitoring. I started having some elevations of my BP and on my March 27th appt -it was 180/100. If you know me, this is extremely high, yet alone high for anyone. My OB was afraid of eclampsia... All labwork turned out okay and my BP came down on its own while being monitored, so they let me go home. Dr. put me on bedrest. The weekly appts began and I eventually was put on BP meds because it was way out of control. I then went on strict bedrest. I was miserable. Finally, April 17th came and I had a my ultrasound, the tech was not happy with his movements during the ultrasound and I was put on the fetal monitor and Jackson had a decel that Dr. Donato was not happy about. She decided to go ahead and deliver little man by c-section. He was born April 17, 2008 at 5:04 pm, 6 lbs 1 oz and 19.5 inches in length. He is absolutely beautiful!

32 wks 4 days

Hello everybody! Wanted to update all on my OB visit today. Everything checked out fine. BP good, heart rate 150, weight gain 2 lbs in 2 weeks. I tried for the 3rd time to get a 4D ultrasound...little Jackson does not want his picture made. He is acting like someone else I know. Each time we have tried he has had his hand/arm covering his face. I can tell you that his cheeks are chubby, he has a sweet little nose and cute fat lips. His est weight is 4 lbs 12 ounces. I have 6 more weeks to go.

It is becoming so real that we will be having another sweet little boy in our lives.

Talk to you soon!

32 weeks today

Hey everybody. Just an update since it has been a month since I have posted. I am now on every 2 week visits to the OBGYN. So far all has been good with Jackson. However, I had a little bump in the road 3 weeks ago. I was in the bed for about 8 days, but am feeling so much better.
I have had 2 baby showers in two weeks and Dale's classmates also gave him a baby shower. We are sooooo fortunate to have such wonderful friends.
I wish I had a current picture of little man to post. I know he is growing and if I had to guess he is about 4 lbs.
My abs feel so stretched out that they feel like they are pulled apart at the top.

Life is good - room will hopefully be ready by next weekend.

Love to all! Dana

OB Update from this week 2-15-08

Hi everyone,

Wanted to update you all on my progress. Had my OB visit this week...BP was good 100/60, weight gain at a total of 29 lbs. I am currently 29 1/2 weeks. We scheduled the C-section for April 24, 2008, which is a Thursday. Glucola test was done and is normal. Thank goodness! I thought with my weight gain that I might have gestational diabetes. So thankful that it was normal. My CBC came back normal, except for my iron level was just slightly low. May not have to take replacement. Will find out next week when I talk to Dr. Donato.

Macho's room is almost done. It is a "Cape Cod" theme with cute little boats, and the colors of navy blue, dark brown, baby blue, little bit of yellow and burgandy. I will take a picture when it is complete.

Take care - Dana :0)

Macho Name Update

Hey everyone! Just wanted to update you on some things. We have finally decided on a name. Baby Macho now has a real name, it is Jackson Alexander Viox.

My last OBGYN appt in January was good. My weight gain has been steady, although right now almost 3 weeks later, I have gained much more weight than I wanted to. My next appt is 2nd week in Feb. I will keep you all posted.

Zac & Taylor are doing great! Dale is doing well, ready for clinical/school to be over. He has approx 6 months left.

Hope you all are well! Talk to you soon. Dana
